Foundation Yoga

This class is ideal for a beginner at Yoga. You will be able to keep up as I teach slowly & give a lot of instruction. It is also great for all levels to review muscular engagement in traditional postures. We will practice basic breath work & begin to learn meditation techniques. I will offer a lot of options to make sure that you feel comfortable. Start to flow & feel good with this slow-paced grounding session. This doesn’t mean easy though! It is still a class for strength & mobility where you decide at what level of intensity you’d like to participate. You will need to be able to sit on the ground. Offered Sundays at 9 am.

Slow Flow

We will start to flow slightly quicker than the Foundations class while still remaining mindful of your body. Comfort & ease take precedence over speed in order to help reduce strain. I will guide you to learn the traditional Vinyasa of Sun Salutations A. Every class will be different as we work on a specific movement or pose. The focus will be on active joint mobility & muscular endurance. We will have a few exercises that we repeat for 6 weeks to really make progress with those. I will instruct you in more intricate Pranayama (breath work) to support you in finding energetic balance. Offered Tuesdays at 5 pm.

Yoga Rehab

Get your PT done in this class! Amy will start with a Yoga style warm up. The second half of class will be dedicated towards more functional type exercises. This will be an opportunity to get your homework done if Amy or another rehab professional has given you exercises to target your specific needs. If you do not have any assigned homework, Amy will have some ideas ready. Use of bands, weights and other equipment will be encouraged to increase your strength. Beginners welcome, this is a great way to learn some Yoga slowly. Offered Wednesdays at 9:15 am

Learn to Fly

This class will consist of 5 weeks focused on a specific pose. It’ll be a workshop style class with a variety of exercises so you can get a lot stronger & mobile than a typical flow class. We’ll use weights, bands & other equipment. I will also offer hands on guidance to coach you through it all. You will be able to ask questions & get my advice on what YOUR body needs.

Every class will have consistent exercises for 5 weeks as well as variety every week so that you can keep your joints & muscles balanced. I will mix things up between what we’re focusing on & then something completely different too.  You can expect tons of fun, a lot of hard work as well as relaxation at the beginning and end of class. I will offer deeper meditative and energetic practices. Offered Thursdays at 6:45 pm. Strong Yoga background required for this class.

Maintenance & Recovery 

Welcome to Maintenance and Recovery, a rejuvenating group exercise class tailored for all ages and fitness levels. Dive into the fundamentals of movement training as I guide you through basic conditioning techniques along with gentle exercises. The aim of this class is to help promote longevity and vitality ensuring you move with ease and recover with grace. Offered Thursdays at 9 AM.

Introduction to Movement 

This introduction/beginner level class is where we blend strength training, gentle exercises and interactive partnerships. With this holistic approach we ensure your body remains strong and pliable while also incorporating the mind body connection. All levels and abilities are welcome to join us as I will differentiate my instruction to meet the needs of my students. Offered Saturdays at 9 AM.
