Meet Joey – The Movement Practitioner & Teacher
Joey Bolduc has been a certified personal trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) since 2014. With more than a decade of experience working with people of different ages, backgrounds, abilities, and fitness levels, Joey has developed an approach to movement that goes beyond traditional personal training.
As a Movement Practitioner and Movement Teacher, Joey helps people better understand their bodies, move with greater confidence, and develop the strength, balance, coordination, awareness, and adaptability needed to move well throughout life.
Joey believes there is no one-size-fits-all approach to movement. Every person brings a different body, history, ability, and set of goals to the process. In his classes, exercises can be adapted, scaled, and explored in different ways so that people of varying ages and abilities can participate, challenge themselves, and experience success. Rather than asking people to fit into a predetermined workout, Joey meets them where they are and helps them discover what their bodies are capable of.
This approach has been especially meaningful in his work with older adults. Joey has seen firsthand how thoughtful, adaptable movement can help seniors build strength, balance, confidence, and trust in their bodies while maintaining the ability to participate in the activities and experiences that matter most to them.
Rather than focusing solely on workouts, equipment, or physical appearance, Joey views movement as a skill and an essential part of everyday life. His goal is to help people develop greater awareness, capability, confidence, and curiosity—qualities that extend beyond the training session and into the way they live, move, and engage with the world.
Whether someone is beginning their movement journey, looking to improve their physical capabilities, or simply wanting to move and feel better, Joey’s approach is designed to meet them where they are and help them continue moving forward.
His goal is simple: to help people of all ages and abilities move with greater awareness, confidence, capability, and curiosity at every stage of life.
